The steamy walk down the red carpet complete, the 67th Emmy Awards kicked off today at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater, with a frenetic opening musical piece and cheerful, well-received monologue from host Andy Samberg of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer handed out the first award for supporting actress in a comedy series to Allison Janney for Mom (she won in the same category last year as well).
