9 Celebs Playboy Rejected

Difficult as this may be to believe, Playboy is apparently not as entranced by newly-legal child bride Courtney Stodden as her 52-year-old hubby is: Stodden has been lobbying for a spread now that she's 18, but the magazine reportedly rejected her because she's been overly "enhanced." The Frisky lists eight more celebs who suffered the same insult:

• Kate Gosselin: Hugh Hefner apparently doesn't like her any more than the rest of us do, responding emphatically, "No! No!" when asked if the reality star might ever make an appearance.

• Kelly Osbourne: Man, Hef really doesn't have a filter. When Osbourne said she might want to get naked for Playboy, he responded, "I can't see it happening somehow; we don't airbrush to that extent."
• Britney Spears: Back in her shaved-head phase, a rep said that Hef would be happy to put Britney in his magazine … "once she can put herself back on the road to recovery." If that's not incentive to get some help, there's none out there.
