Celebrity | Lindsay Lohan VF LiLo Interview: 5 Juicy Bits Lohan swears she's learned from her mistakes By Evann Gastaldo Posted Aug 31, 2010 8:17 AM CDT Copied In this magazine cover released by Vanity Fair, actress Lindsay lohan is shown on the cover of the October 2010 issue of Vanity Fair. (AP Photo/Norman Jean Roy for Vanity Fair) Lindsay Lohan’s first big post-jail/rehab cover story is here (although the Vanity Fair interview was actually completed one week prior to her time in the slammer). Five revealing tidbits: She’s not an alcoholic: If she was one, she argues, “then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking.” She’s not addicted to prescription drugs: “I’ve never abused prescription drugs. I never have—never in my life. I have no desire to. That’s not who I am.” She still hasn’t forgiven her father: “I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life.” She wants her career back: “I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress. And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible—but that’s what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes.” She—allegedly!—cooperates with the paparazzi: Lohan denies this, but a photographer says, “If I called her up right now and said I’ll give you $10,000, she’d come right down.” For more from the interview, click here.
