Girls Gone Wild's Joe Francis Engaged

Shockingly, there’s a woman out there who’s agreed to spend the rest of her life with Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame. Francis proposed—kinda—to his CBS reporter girlfriend of 4 years in St. Tropez, but he and Christina McLarty won’t actually be getting married. Francis apparently doesn’t have a problem making raunchy films of underage girls, but he does have a problem with gay marriage being illegal.

"We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don't believe it's appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States," Francis tells the New York Post. The wedding, planned for September in Mexico, “will be a nontraditional celebration of love, family, and friends.”
