(AP Photo/Cliff Owen) Marco Rubio bagged another big endorsement in his Senate run today from the heavyweight (and heavy-handed) Dick Cheney. "Charlie Crist has shown time and again that he cannot be trusted in Washington to take on the Obama agenda," Cheney said. "Lately, it seems Charlie Crist cannot be trusted even to remain a Republican." Crist has said he's considering running as an independent, something Cheney urged him not to do, the AP reports. Party luminaries have been lining up behind Rubio thanks to his 20-point lead over Crist in the polls. Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, and Florida House Speaker Larry Cretul have all come into his camp this month. "We can trust Marco to stand up to the Obama agenda that threatens our freedom," Cheney said. But there is one dark cloud hanging over Rubio: federal authorities are investigating his alleged use of this party's credit card for personal expenses.
