Daily Show Proposes Two-State Solution—for US

The spate of violence and death threats that erupted in the wake of the health care bill’s passage have left us with only one choice: Let’s just split the country in two, India-Pakistan style. At least, that’s the satirical solution Aasif Mandvi put forth last night, in the Daily Show’s long-overdue take on the issue.

Jon Stewart got in a good jab at Sarah Palin, who had tweeted supporters, “Don’t Retreat, Instead—RELOAD!” Palin later insisted she wasn’t trying to incite violence, only inspire people. “Sarah Palin has a dream!” Stewart cried. “And in that dream, you have a gun.”
