(AP Photo/The Press of Atlantic City, Vernon Ogrodnek) Samantha Lynn Frazier has sworn off dieting after surviving an Atlantic City shooting in a particularly unusual fashion: “My love handles saved my life,” she says. Frazier had just arrived in Atlantic City, and was out on the boardwalk headed for a bar with her friend when she heard two pops, and then, later, felt a rush of pain, she tells the Press of Atlantic City. “I’ve been shot,” she said, and passed out. She awoke in a hospital trauma center; the bullet had hit nothing vital, only fat. Police say she was an innocent bystander; the real target was an unidentified man who escaped with a bullet hole in his jacket. “I’d been hollering how I want to lose weight,” Frazier says. “I don't want to anymore. I want to be as big as I can if it's going to stop a bullet.” Read These Next Iran's supreme leader makes first public comments since ceasefire. Her blood isn't compatible with anyone else's.
