The sprain occurred when Dallas linebacker Anthony Spencer sacked Manning, mashing his shoulder against the turf, during the Cowboys' 45-35 win. Running back Brandon Jacobs and defensive end Osi Umenyiora are also likely to miss games. Manning completed four passes after the injury, including a tight spiral to Plaxico Burress for a 10-yard score, and demonstrated to reporters that his shoulder still functioned. “I can start my car, open the door; I’ve got good motion," said Manning. “I won’t try to lift up a bed or move a couch or anything,” Read These Next A look at President Trump's fast pivot on Minneapolis.
