(KRT Photos) Joe Gibbs Racing is in talks to move to Toyota Motorsports after 16 years and three series championships with General Motors, ESPN reports. The announcement is expected to come Wednesday morning at a press conference that could include Gibbs team drivers Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin. Neither Toyota nor GM would comment yesterday. Hamlin, who is signed with JGR through 2010, said of the move that "If we did it, it would be good for us," but did not confirm the switch. Toyota, new to the NASCAR Nextel Cup, claims a fifth-place finish in May of this year as its best showing, and had two drivers in the top 10 in August.
