Aniston-Mayer May Be Off Again

Poor Jennifer Aniston just can’t catch a break. Rumor has it that the love-crossed actress and sometime beau John Mayer have split up—again—although at least one friend is quick to point out they might just get back together, E! reports. The jeweler who was rumored to be creating a custom engagement ring for Mayer denied any involvement with the crooner, Us adds.

Then again, maybe Aniston isn’t all that upset: She did recently tell a UK magazine, “Who ever said that every relationship has to last forever? That’s hoping too much,” and as for the perfect partner—“I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists.”
