Apple to Quit Macworld Expo

The company's stock dived 5% following the news amid rumors about its significance.

A statement from Apple said trade shows have never been a big part of its business. Some experts speculated that the move could mean Jobs' health is failing, however, or that an internal power play is afoot. "Apple could have dismissed a lot of rumors by having him give the final keynote and opted not to," said an analyst.
