Oprah Winfrey has once again hit “the dreaded 2-0-0” pounds. The talk show queen, who has famously struggled with her weight for years, writes, “I definitely wasn't setting an example. I was talking the talk, but I wasn't walking the walk,” in an article in the January issue of O magazine obtained by the AP, where she admits she has gained 40 pounds since 2006.
"I'm embarrassed," she writes. "I can't believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I'm still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, 'How did I let this happen again?'" Winfrey attributes some of the gain to an out-of-whack thyroid, a condition that led her to develop "a fear of working out." This time around, rather than trying to get thin, Oprah says she wants to be strong, healthy, and fit.
