A woman sitting in her car at a red light got shot in the arm, and police in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, quickly identified the shooter: a dog. Police say the dog was in the back seat of a vehicle parked at a gas station when its owner went inside, reports WJW. The pooch evidently bumped into a loaded shotgun in the vehicle, and the blast went through the vehicle door and hit the woman at a nearby traffic light.
She was taken to a hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening, per KNOP News 2. Authorities have not announced any charges as the investigation continues, but that could change: The Guardian notes that it's illegal in Nebraska to have a loaded shotgun in your vehicle.
