"And then there were 3," Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi said in an Instagram post on Thursday, announcing that they had welcomed their first child. "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption," they wrote. "We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy." Stranger Things star Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, the 23-year-old son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, were married in a private ceremony last year, the AP reports. They live in Georgia, where most of Stranger Things was filmed.
In March, Brown told the Smartless podcast that she had always wanted children, People reports. "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake," she said. "I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me personally." She said they are planning on having a big family, like the ones they both grew up in. "I'm one of four. He's one of four," she said. "So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting."
