Well, this ought to wreck a garden party: The House of Windsor is facing a rather pedestrian problem, reports Parade, in the form of a swarm of wasps that have invaded King Charles' Sandringham estate. Apparently, a record-dry spring boosted the numbers of the pests, and visitors to the 20,000-acre estate are being advised to take caution. British tabloids including the Sun have spotted a rather blunt warning posted to garbage cans, saying, "Please be aware that wasp activity is currently high in this area. Thank you." One set of bins has even been sealed off as wasp traps have been deployed in a catch-and-release-elsewhere scheme. The British monarch, meanwhile, has taken up residence in his Balmoral retreat, which People notes is home to a "mischievous pony."
