(AP Photo/Chuck Burton) (Associated Press) Cristie Kerr, who helped pioneer the trend of women golfers turning pro right out of high school, won her first major title at the U.S. Open. Kerr ended up at a five-under 279 and improved to 1-for-42 in the majors, a victory she said she had foreseen: "I saw it all week, the same scene. And it happened."
