Being in a big city doesn't always translate into having a great mobile network performance. The New York City area, for example, may be the most populous in the nation, but it comes in at a mediocre 59th in a new ranking by RootMetrics. The site looked at the 125 biggest metro areas in the US and ranked them on a variety of factors including overall performance, reliability, speed, and call and text performance. The top 10:
