(AP Photo) The opposition to Zimbabwe’s ruling party threatened to incite Kenya-style protests if Saturday’s election is rigged as expected, the Guardian reports. President Mugabe has told Zimbabweans not to waste their votes by supporting the other candidates, who “will never be allowed to rule this country.” Mugabe said his security forces would quickly put down any protests. But Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change, which lost a 2002 election dogged by accusations of fraud, vows to be ready. "The lesson from 2002 is we didn't have a plan for after the vote. Everyone stayed at home and said we will go to the courts. We have seen the lesson from Kenya,” said Tsvangirai’s campaign manager.
