(AP Photo/Alex Brandon, File) The domestic violence charges against Hope Solo have been dismissed after her attorney told a judge that the alleged victims refused to allow defense attorneys to depose them. Solo's attorney said the soccer star's nephew and half-sister, who say Solo assaulted them at a June party, avoided their depositions and wouldn't answer questions about the case, and a judge yesterday agreed with his motion to dismiss the charges. Solo, 33, had originally pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor assault charges, the Seattle Times reports. "Today's decision brings closure to what has been one of the most difficult and emotionally draining times of my life," Solo said in a statement. "I always had faith that once the facts of the case were presented, I would be cleared of all charges, and I am so happy and relieved to finally have it all behind me. I look forward to joining my team with a clear mind to train, compete, and help bring a World Cup title to the US in 2015." Read These Next Her blood isn't compatible with anyone else's.
