The country's 3G mobile phone network is also said to be experiencing an outage, which Gizmodo notes is a first. The news comes on the heels of Pyongyang comparing President Obama to a monkey and accusing the US of being behind its recent Internet outages as retaliation after the Sony hacking conflict.
