American Couple's Qatar Nightmare Ends

The nightmare that began with the January 2013 death of their adopted daughter is finally fully over for Matthew and Grace Huang. Qatar on Sunday overturned the conviction of the American couple, who had been accused of starving 8-year-old Gloria to death, but they were blocked hours later when attempting to pass through immigration at the airport in Doha. US Ambassador to Qatar Dana Smith today announced the travel ban was no more, after Smith filed a motion and spoke with Qatari officials, reports CNN. The couple is now free to head home and be reunited with their two adopted sons.
