The Flyers had won 12 of 15 and New York was winless on the road in 2008, but four Rangers scored in the 4-0 victory, which hoisted the team out of the cellar in the congested Atlantic Division. Also in hockey: Alexander Ovechkin had four goals—including the game-winner in overtime—and an assist to will Washington over Montreal, 5-4, in a testy rematch of Tuesday's Canadiens win. Rob Brind'Amour notched the winning goal with just three minutes left in overtime in Carolina's 3-2 victory against Toronto.
