Celebrity | Donald Trump Trump to 'Dump Trump' Organizer: Stop or I'll Sue But Angelo Carusone isn't backing down By Evann Gastaldo Posted Feb 20, 2013 9:49 AM CST Copied In this Sept. 27, 2012 file photo, Donald Trump arrives for the opening ceremony at the Ryder Cup PGA golf tournament at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill. (AP Photo/David J. Phillip) Lawsuit-happy Donald Trump is threatening to sue again: This time he's upset with Angelo Carusone, the brains behind a petition urging Macy's to "Dump Trump." Trump's attorney sent Carusone a cease and desist letter threatening to sue for "not less than" $25 million in damages if he continues the "Dump Trump" campaign, according to the Hollywood Reporter. But Carusone says he has no plans to comply with the letter, and says it just proves Trump engages in "bullying and intimidation." And this comment from Trump's lawyer will probably just add more fuel to Carusone's fire: After hearing Carusone had released the cease and desist letter, the attorney told the Reporter in classic Trump fashion, "The guy’s desperate for media attention—the guy's a loser." Eslewhere, in another lawsuit involving Macy's and celebrities, Martha Stewart may take the stand next week. Macy's is suing Stewart's company in an effort to stop it from selling its products at JCPenney stores. Macy's claims it has exclusive rights to Stewart-branded merch in certain categories, Bloomberg reports. Read These Next Trumps ends trade talks with Canada.
