Conservative group ForAmerica has turned its sights on one of its own with a new web ad that calls out Mitch McConnell for his willingness to work with Democrats on the fiscal cliff deal, reports Politico. "Whose side are you on?" the ad asks above a picture of McConnell sandwiched between Joe Biden and President Obama. They'll run on Google pages in McConnell's home state of Kentucky as well as on the Daily Caller and Drudge Report. McConnell, who hopes to avoid having a Republican challenger in the 2014 elections, irked conservatives by working out a last-minute deal with Biden that included tax hikes on the rich. “When Republicans agree to do what they did agree to do, then they are just as much tax-and-spend Democrats as Democrats are,” says ForAmerica leader Brent Bozell.
