Darnell Jackson led the Jayhawks with 25 points and 22 rebounds as Kansas built a 25-point lead in the second half. KU outrebounded the Eagles (10-3) 39-24. In other Top 25 action: No. 2 Memphis won its 40th straight home game with a 90-53 rout of Pepperdine. Doneal Mack led the Tigers (13-0) with 23 points. No. 7 Georgetown opened its defense of the Big East championship with a 58-46 win over Rutgers. Freshman Austin Freeman led the Hoyas (11-1, 1-0) with 13 points.
