(AP Photo/Marcio Jose Sanchez, File) Arnold Schwarzenegger says he had no idea what awaited him when he entered couples therapy with wife Maria Shriver last year. "The minute we sat down, the therapist turned to me and said, 'Maria wanted to come here today and to ask about a child—whether you fathered a child with your housekeeper Mildred,'" writes Schwarzenegger in his new tell-all book, Total Recall. Schwarzenegger 'fessed up to his infidelity and immediately groveled, calling Shriver the "perfect wife" and saying she still turned him on. Dishing on the book's most explosive chapter, the New York Daily News recounts how Schwarzenegger slept with married housekeeper Mildred Baena in 1996 and refused to believe her son was his—until the resemblance became overpowering. "I blocked out the fact that as a husband and father, as a man with a family and wife, I was letting people down," he writes. Ascribing his motive for the affair to stupidity and arrogance, Schwarzenegger writes that he still hopes to reunite with Shriver: "You can call this denial, but it’s the way my mind works."
