Blue Hose's Transition to D-I A Rocky Road

South Carolina's tiny Presbyterian College is still adjusting to life in the world of Division I hoops. The school of 1200 students, whose team nickname is the Blue Hose, made the switch this year to attract better recruits. Though the team is 1-10 thus far, coach Gregg Nibert and players couldn't be happier with the results, ESPN.com reports.

Nibert explained: "I knew we had a great product here. But our name wasn't getting out there." Added one player of his team's obscurity, "Everywhere we go, everyone asks, 'What's a Blue Hose?' Sometimes they say stuff like, 'Hey, I got a blue hose out in my garage.' I just laugh at it."
