Meredith Vieira reportedly turned down the network's offer of her old job back; she simply "wasn't interested," according to TMZ. The celebrity gossip source notes that ratings weren't the only reason for Curry's departure: Matt Lauer said he wanted her gone when he signed his latest contract.
