Dany Heatley and Mike Fisher both scored in the first six minutes, and Heatley would find the net again in the third period in a game the 'Canes will likely want to forget. On other NHL ice: With Chicago determined to break its four-game losing streak, a fierce battle with Los Angeles ensued. The teams racked up 60 minutes of penalties in the 6-3 Blackhawks win. Anaheim fans suffered a double disappointment, as Scott Niedermeyer remained off the lineup and the Ducks fell short of Vancouver, 3-2.
