It’s the biggest payout the state’s lottery has ever awarded, the New York Post reports. The three owners of an asset-management company were in no rush to pick up their prize, it seems: They accepted it yesterday after a month in the shadows, driving lottery officials to put up billboards seeking the winners. One of the winners, Tim Davidson, bought the ticket at a gas station, which wins $100,000 for selling the ticket. “Christmas comes a little early this year,” said its owner. Davidson and fellow victors Brandon Lacoff and Greg Skidmore arrived in a giant limo to pick up their giant check. They’ve established a trust to handle the money; it will receive $103.5 million in cash after taxes. Much of the money will go to charity, said the men’s lawyer. “This is going to benefit many people.” Read These Next Gavin Newsom has filed a massive lawsuit against Fox News.
