Researchers at Indiana University polled more than 900 participants and found that 23% of men and 19% of women reported being unfaithful. Only 10% to 15% of women said the same in the '90s, reports ABC News. The reasons for women: Unhappiness in their relationships and different sexual beliefs from their partners. An increase in women engaging in office romances may be one of the reasons the gap between genders is closing. "[There's] too much time working closely together, in private spaces, taking a break and talking about personal matters," says a psychologist. The Internet could be another negative influence. "It allows for people to act on infidelity," she says. "Also, the Internet makes it easier to connect with old flames."
