(AP Photo/Rich Pedroncelli) Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina was taken to the hospital today after developing an infection related to the reconstructive surgery she had following her battle with breast cancer, CNN reports. “Carly is upbeat and her doctors expect her to make a quick and full recovery and be back out on the campaign trail soon,” her campaign said in a statement, adding that doctors had given Fiorina antibiotics to fight the infection.
