Politics | Tom Perriello GOP Tweets Democratic Staffers' Home Addresses Perriello-Hurt race in Virginia takes nasty turn By Nick McMaster Posted Sep 8, 2010 5:41 PM CDT Copied In this Aug. 17, 2009 file photo, Rep. A National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman tweeted the home addresses of several Democratic campaign staffers, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports. He posted the addresses of staffers working for Rep. Tom Perriello's campaign after the Perriello camp called his opponent's spokeswoman a "carpetbagger." Background of note: In March, a tea party activist posted the home address of Perriello's brother (he thought it was the congressman's), and someone then cut a propane line to a gas grill in his yard. Worse for Perriello: He's in serous danger of losing, and the national party may divert funds to closer races, notes the Washington Post.
